How to Reinvest ZCAT's ZEC Rewards Automatically

ZCAT describes a reward mechanism that distributes ZEC to eligible holders. Reinvesting that received token into more ZCAT is a separate trade. Autocompounder can express the intended direction as ZEC input and ZCAT output, with a cumulative limit on how much input may be converted.

How do you reinvest ZCAT's ZEC rewards automatically?

Verify the ZEC token received in your Solana wallet, choose it as Autocompounder's input, and select the verified ZCAT mint as output. Approve a finite spending limit. The keeper can convert available approved ZEC when execution conditions permit; ZCAT's separate rules determine any subsequent reward eligibility.

This direction matters. Choosing ZCAT as the input would authorize spending your ZCAT holding rather than reinvesting its ZEC rewards. Check the arrow and both full mint addresses before relying on familiar icons or a saved selection.

Which token addresses does this example use?

The prepared pair uses these Solana mints:

RoleTokenSolana mint
InputZECA7bdiYdS5GjqGFtxf17ppRHtDKPkkRqbKtR27dxvQXaS
OutputZCATHcRLc9VDgjLeK154xDawfb1dmVJ98DoSqcwTHGqiDeJR

Compare ZCAT with the address published by the ZCAT project. Inspect the input mint and output mint separately. Matching a ticker is not sufficient, and an explorer listing is not a guarantee about an asset's backing or issuer.

The ZEC input here is a token on Solana. This workflow neither signs native Zcash transactions nor moves assets across a bridge. If your ZEC is on another network or held by an exchange, that is not automatically a spendable balance in the Solana token account selected by this configuration.

What does the project reward process do?

The project's published explanation says token-movement fees fund a system that sources ZEC for eligible holders. That description belongs to the project, not to Autocompounder. Eligibility and payment conditions must be checked at the current project source before expecting a reward.

Autocompounder begins with tokens available in your wallet. It does not distribute ZCAT rewards, decide whether you qualified for a snapshot, or recover a payment held by a custodian. If no reward has arrived, first verify that separate process rather than changing your conversion allowance.

Additional ZCAT purchased through a swap may affect a later eligible holding according to the project's rules. It does not establish a fixed payout or return. The market value of both assets can change, and reinvesting increases your exposure to the output token.

How should you prepare a small first conversion?

Open Autocompounder with the wallet holding the intended Solana ZEC balance. Select ZEC under When I receive and ZCAT under Autoconvert into. Use the mint links to confirm the pair before reviewing the total spending limit.

Set the limit yourself rather than accepting a price-derived default without review. The permission is expressed in ZEC units and applies across swaps. It also covers existing ZEC in the approved account, so a wallet that stores a larger ZEC holding needs particular care when choosing the amount.

Keep setup funding available for network fees and any required accounts. The general setup guide explains the wallet prompt and confirmation sequence. A confirmed setup proves that the configuration exists; a separate swap receipt is needed to establish conversion and fees.

What should a verified pilot receipt show?

The controlled pilot on 2026-09-20 verified two automatic swaps under one finite approval. This table records the first swap; its signature is linked below. The service fee is calculated from gross output, and token transfer taxes are separate.

CheckVerified first swap
Input consumption0.00485393 ZEC (485393)
Wallet output56.292030351 ZCAT (56292030351)
Service fee58.619213112 ZCAT × 1% = 0.586192131 ZCAT
Token taxes0.586192131 ZCAT → 0.568606367 ZCAT (3%)

Execution cost−0.001579800 SOL = −0.001574800 SOL − 0.000005000 SOL

The second swap consumed the remaining 0.00514607 ZEC, leaving zero allowance and 0.00008118 ZEC unspent. Both swaps together delivered 116.017713692 ZCAT. Automatic fee conversion returned account rent separately from proceeds. Owner cancellation was also verified. These historical results do not promise future execution or returns.

How do fees affect the ZEC-to-ZCAT result?

The configured service fee is currently 1% in ZCAT because ZCAT is the output token. Token transfer taxes are separate from that service fee and can affect spendable credits. Setup charges and account rent are also different from the ongoing swap transaction costs paid by the keeper.

A quoted result and an actual wallet credit need not be identical. Prices can move, taxes can apply along the supported transfer path, and several transfers can appear within one transaction. Reconcile the actual route and account changes rather than assuming every ZCAT movement is either your payout or the service fee.

The keeper checks execution economics before sending. A small ZEC balance may wait until conversion is viable under its policy. A larger allowance alone does not change that balance, create liquidity, or bypass account-compatibility checks.

How do you stop or change the reinvestment?

Open the saved configuration and use Update allowance to set a new remaining ZEC quantity. To stop future swaps, use Cancel and verify its confirmation. Disconnecting the browser session does not clear the on-chain permission, and cancellation cannot reverse an earlier trade.

Review the spending-limit guide before renewing. Continue only when the configured pair, remaining permission, received output, and fee record match your intent. Successful automation demonstrates a working conversion; it does not establish that buying more ZCAT is the right investment choice for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you reinvest ZCAT's ZEC rewards?

After the reward reaches your Solana wallet, configure its verified ZEC mint as the input and the verified ZCAT mint as the output. Approve a finite input allowance in Autocompounder. Buying additional ZCAT does not guarantee eligibility, a larger future distribution, or a profitable result.

Does this workflow send ZEC on the Zcash network?

No. This configuration exchanges the specified Solana token mint through a Solana route. It does not send native Zcash transactions or bridge assets between networks. Check the complete mint address and the representation's properties rather than assuming the ZEC ticker alone establishes the asset's identity.

Which token is used for the service fee?

For this ZEC-to-ZCAT configuration, the current service fee is collected in the output token, ZCAT, at a rate of 1%. Token-level transfer taxes are separate. Verify the actual fee transfer and spendable wallet output in the confirmed swap rather than deriving them solely from displayed dollar estimates.
