Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reclaim SOL from empty token accounts?+
Connect your wallet and Sol Incinerator will scan for empty SPL and Token-2022 accounts. Review the result, then select Claim SOL to close those accounts and return their rent deposits. Fun Mode does not burn tokens.
Where does the recovered SOL come from?+
A Solana token account holds a rent-exempt deposit while it exists on-chain. After its token balance reaches zero, the account can remain open with that SOL still inside. Closing the account returns the deposit to its owner.
How much SOL can I reclaim?+
A standard empty token account currently holds about 0.00204 SOL before service and network fees. Your total depends on the number and type of closeable accounts in your wallet, so the read-only scan is the reliable way to check.
Is Sol Incinerator non-custodial?+
Yes. Your private keys never leave your wallet, Sol Incinerator does not take custody of your assets, and every account closure or burn requires a transaction you approve.
What fee does Sol Incinerator charge?+
There is no upfront service charge. For standard empty-account cleanup, you receive a flat 0.002 SOL from roughly 0.00204 SOL of reclaimed rent, so the service keeps about 1.93%. Network fees still apply and other asset types can have different recovery amounts. If your wallet has no SOL for the network fee, Sol Incinerator can pay it and recover twice that amount from the SOL you reclaim in the same transaction.
What if my wallet has no SOL for network fees?+
If your wallet cannot cover the network fee, Sol Incinerator pays it and normally recovers twice that fee from the SOL reclaimed in the same transaction. If only the actual fee fits, recovery drops to that amount. Any rent advanced is repaid in full. Claims that cannot cover these costs are skipped.
How does it compare with other Solana wallet cleaners?+
Sol Incinerator combines empty-account cleanup with Token-2022 support and optional tools for unwanted tokens, NFTs, domains, transfers, and swaps. Fees and capabilities can change, so use the dated comparison and review the transaction shown by your wallet before signing.
Which Solana wallets are supported?+
Sol Incinerator supports major Solana wallets including Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and Ledger, plus compatible WalletConnect wallets.
What is the difference between Fun Mode and Pro Mode?+
Fun Mode only closes empty accounts and is the default. Pro Mode adds destructive actions for assets you deliberately choose to burn, so review every selection before signing.
